I have a “Can Do” attitude. I
choose my actions, attitudes
and moods. I don’t blame
others. I do the right thing
without being asked, even when nobody is looking.

I plan ahead and set goals. I do things that have meaning and make a difference.

I am an important part of my classroom. I look for ways to be a good citizen.

I spend my time on things that are most important. This means I should say no to things I should not do. I set priorities, make a schedule, and follow my plan. I am organized.

Welcome To Jefferson Elementary Thanks for Visiting

Superhero Spotlight

This week we are spotlighting:  1st Grade Teachers

Mrs. Bettenhausen and Mrs. Shafer

Mrs. Bettenhausen enjoys playing piano, cooking, running, hiking, traveling, speaking Spanish, kayaking, biking, horseback riding and swimming.  Her favorite color is blue and favorite food is raspberries.  The Little Engine That Could is her favorite book.

Mrs. Shafer enjoys reading and golfing.  Her favorite colors are red and royal blue.  Her favorite food is spaghetti and has many, many, favorite books.  She says Jefferson families and staff are a wonderfulfamily, ready to step up and help at a moment's notice.

Thank you Mrs. Bettenhausen and Mrs. Shafer for teaching our little superheroes!

Every day ask yourself these two questions:

In the morning--What good can  I do today?

Before bed--What good did I do today?

You can always be a better person today than you were yesterday.

Mrs. Grace Nessler, Secretary
