Safety first!
On Thursday, August 6, we welcomed our newest Kindergarten students to District 709. Each school held their own Kindergarten Roundup. We are so excited for them to join #onemorton. Kindergarteners, one more sleep!

In-Person Registration is scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, 2026 from 7am-1pm at all elementary buildings and the junior high.

-Online Registration Opens at 9:00am
Tuesday, July 28th:
-New Family/Kindergarten garden In-Person Registration 9:00am-1:00pm (Please complete the online portion before attending)
Thursday, August 6th:
-Kindergarten Round Up: Time scheduled at in-person registration
-Jefferson Swim Party at the Morton Pool from 6:30-8:00pm
Thursday, August 7th:
-Class Lists are posted in PowerSchool after 3:00pm
Tuesday, August 11th:
-Unpack Your Backpack & Meet the Teacher Night 6:00-7:00pm
Wednesday, August 12th:
-First Day of School- 11:55am Dismissal
