JEFFERSON SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST

2009 – 2010

KINDERGARTEN - 1 box #2 plain yellow pencils, Elmer's school glue (8 oz.) NO GEL, 4 glue sticks, 1 large box of Kleenex, 8 regular crayons (standard size- Crayola brand true colors), 1 eraser, 1 supply box (no handles), 1 set of watercolor paints, 1 box of washable markers (classic colors, NOT BOLD), 1 book bag – large enough to hold a folder, 1 plain one inch binder.  1 box baby wipes or Clorox wipes, 1 box zip-lock baggies, $3.00 for film developing.

FIRST

Mrs. Shafer – School bag, supply box, 1 large eraser, 1 box (24 count) crayons, 1 set of 8 washable markers (Crayola “classic” colors), 1 box of watercolor paints, 1 8 oz bottle of Elmer’s white glue, 4 glue sticks, 1 pair (child size) pointed Fiskar scissors, 2 pocket folders, 2 boxes of Kleenex, 1 box of pencils for group use, 1 dry erase marker, 1 box large  Ziplocs OR 1 roll of paper towels OR 1 container baby wipes, 1 box of envelopes for notes and lunch money (to be kept at home). About mid-year, some supplies will need to be replaced.

Mrs. Hochstettler School bag, 2 packages #2 lead pencils, 1 dry erase marker, 2 boxes (24 count) Crayola Crayons,1 set of 8 washable markers (Crayola Classic colors), 1 box watercolor paints (Prang or Crayola), 1 8oz. Bottle Elmer’s glue - NOT GEL!

4 glue sticks, 1 pair child size pointed Fiskar scissors, 4 plain pocket folders with 3 prong strip for journals, 1 packages pencil top erasers, 1 yellow highlighter, colored pencils, 2 large boxes of Kleenex, 1 box Ziploc baggies (any size) 1 box of Clorox wipes, 1 school box, 1 plain clipboard , $4.00 for Scholastic News, a pair of gym shoes to be kept at school.

SECOND

Mrs. Oaks – School bag, supply box, 2 boxes (24 count) crayons, 1 set of 8 washable markers (Not fine line), 1 large eraser, 24 regular #2 pencils (plain yellow), 1 pkg. Expo dry erase markers, 1 box colored pencils, 1 package of pencil top erasers, 1 pair child size pointed scissors, 1 set of watercolor paints, 1-8 oz. Elmer’s white glue (NOT GEL), 4 glue sticks, 1 spiral notebooks (wide-lined), 1 plain clipboard, 2 pocket folders, 1 large package baby wipes, 1 large box of Kleenex, $4.00 for Scholastic Weekly Reader.

Mrs. Seaton – school bag (no wheels) ,2 pkgs #2 yellow pencils, 1pkg dry erase markers, 2 boxes (24 count) crayons, l pkg washable markers, 1-8oz. Elmer’s glue (white), 4 glue sticks,1 pair child-size scissors,3 plain colored (red, blue, yellow) pocket folders with 3-prong strip (paper, not platic), 1 pkg eraser tops,1 large box of Kleenex, 1 box or baby wipes or a roll of paper towels,1- spiral notebook (wide-lined, single subject),  clipboard,1 box watercolors (Prang or Crayola),  1, inch binder, colored pencils, 1 yellow highlighter, 1 gallon size box of Ziploc bags.

THIRD – 1 box (16 count) crayons, a highlighter, 1 pink pencil eraser, 1- 8 oz. Elmer’s’ glue, 1 set of markers (8 count), 1 notebook filler paper (wide-lined), 12 regular #2 pencils (sharpen before school), 1-12 inch ruler (metric and inch measurements – no rubber rulers, preferably clear plastic), 1 pair of scissors, 1 stenographer’s notebook (only for Mrs. Schlappi’s students), 1 pair of tennis shoes for gym, 1 box of Kleenex (large size), 1 box of colored pencils (sharpen before school), 1 pencil box, 1 box of baby wipes, $4.00 for Weekly Reader.

FOURTH - 1 box Crayola crayons (no more than 24 count), 1 set Crayola markers (can be either size), 1 set colored pencils,     1 pkg. regular #2 pencils, 2 pkg. notebook filler paper (wide-ruled), 3 spiral notebooks (wide-ruled, single subject), 1 eraser,       1 pair of good sharp pointed scissors, 1–8 oz. bottle of glue, 1 glue stick, 1 red pen, 1 yellow highlighter, 3 pocket folders (prongs and pockets) NO THREE RING BINDERS, 1 large box of Kleenex,  $4.25 for Weekly Reader.  Fourth grade students will purchase recorders & sheet music for approximately $6.00 during the second semester.

FIFTH

10 - #2 lead pencils, 2 red pens, 1 large eraser, 1 pointed scissors, 1 bottle of white glue, 3 large solid white glue sticks, 1 box colored pencils, 1 box crayons (24 count), 1 box of fine point magic markers, 1 – 12 inch ruler (metric & inch measurements), 3 pkgs. wide-lined notebook paper, 2 spiral notebook, 1 highlighter, 2 one-inch (flexible vinyl) 3 ring notebooks, 3 Expo dry-erase markers – any colors, 2 large boxes of Kleenex, $6.00 for classroom reading project

SIXTH –2 red ink checking pens, 1 large eraser, 12 - #2 wooden or mechanical pencils, 2 packages of  3/8” ruled (regular) theme paper, 1-12 inch ruler (metric & inch measurements), 1 pair pointed scissors, 1 box crayons (24 count), 1 bottle of white glue, 1 glue stick,1 large box of Kleenex, 1 box of colored pencils, 1 set of water based markers (thin line), 1 light colored highlighter, 1 box or basket to keep supplies in, 1 large container of disinfecting wipes, and $4.50 for a subscription to Weekly Reader
